From IT to real-world business problems.

ShopNet was not created simply for the sake of building software. It grew from firsthand experience dealing with data, reports, costs, and profit while running an online business.

Starting in IT

Arive, Founder of D’FaundaTools, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in IT from UMC in 2016. His technology background shaped the habit of seeing problems as something that can be analyzed, simplified, and turned into systems.

Becoming an Online Seller

His journey did not immediately continue as a software developer. Arive entered the world of online selling and experienced firsthand how orders, inventory, customers, reports, costs, and business finances must be managed every day.

As the Business Grew, So Did the Complexity

Around 2018, growing transaction volumes made manual processes and Excel increasingly difficult to manage. The data existed, but it was scattered across reports, notes, and different processes, making it difficult to turn into useful business answers.

The Birth of ShopNet

ShopNet was built from that problem: not to replace Shopee, but to help sellers use their own reports to better understand COGS, fees, affiliates, refunds, product performance, and estimated profit.

Growing Into Something Bigger

ShopNet showed that similar problems exist across many businesses: manual, repetitive, scattered processes that are difficult to monitor and prone to errors. From there, D’FaundaTools expanded into ready-to-use products and custom systems.

Lots of Data, Few Answers

High revenue does not always mean high profit.

Behind revenue are COGS, administration fees, services, order processing costs, affiliates, advertising, promotions, and refunds. Even the best-selling product is not always the most profitable.

Which products are actually profitable?

How much are you actually paying in marketplace fees?

Are advertising and affiliate programs still delivering healthy results?

Why does revenue look high while the money left over is much smaller?

From ShopNet to D'FaundaTools

One problem opened the way to the next solution.

The approach remains the same: technology comes after the problem and workflow are understood.

ShopNet

When sellers need to understand profit from Shopee reports.

TikNet

When the same analytics needs arise on TikTok Shop.

DAVID

When packing video evidence needs to be easy to find when a complaint arises.

Personal Financial

When personal budgets and expenses need to be managed easily and privately.

Buku Usaha

When cash, inventory, returns, and business operations need to be controlled in one system.

Custom App

When a business workflow cannot be handled effectively by general-purpose applications.

Philosophy

Technology should reduce complexity.

Not technology for the sake of looking sophisticated, but technology that is used, helps people work, and delivers results.

Understand the Process

Start with how the work actually happens in practice.

Identify the Problem

Find the parts that waste time, are difficult to monitor, or are prone to errors.

Simplify the Workflow

Reduce repetitive work and surface the information that matters.

Build the System

Technology is selected only after the requirements and expected outcomes are clear.

Founder Statement

“I did not start D’FaundaTools simply because I wanted to build applications. I have been in the position of dealing every day with inventory, reports, airway bills, costs, and complicated business numbers. The most useful technology is not the most complex—it is the technology that makes work simpler.”
